The Music-Theatre Performance “Letters to Mother” by the Cypriot Poet Costas Montis
Through a musical and theatrical adaptation of the poetic work of Costas Montis, “Letters to Mother”, the audience will experience all the aspects of the Cypriot tragedy. Original music, poems, songs, and narration will unfold the turbulent moments of the history of Cyprus, the inglorious end to the campaign of 1955-1959, the Turkish invasion in 1974, the drama of the refugees, the unknown fade of missing persons and the unfair Turkish occupation of Cyprus for the last 50 years now.
