"Bir Garip Orhan Veli " is a musical that brings the life, poetry, and unique world of Orhan Veli Kanık, one of Turkey's most beloved and unconventional poets, to the stage. The musical is an adaptation of Veli’s works, blending his poems with anecdotes, stories, and songs to create a vibrant portrayal of his bohemian spirit and deep, yet often humorous, observations of life.

In "Bir Garip Orhan Veli," the immortal poet Orhan Veli, who conveys his joy for life, hope, passions, and love for Istanbul in a flawless language, reunites with art lovers through the pen of master writer Murathan Mungan and the impressive acting of Reha Özcan. The play uses a striking stage language with images that blend technology and music.
